Come Join the Fun!
Join MCAMW for a relaxing 3-hour Summer Family Float hosted by WiMI. This trip is on a broad, scenic, and less crowded section of the Potomac River, downstream from Harpers Ferry. This tubing experience goes from the Brunswick Family Campground to Lander.
On this trip you will experience sightings of the majestic bald eagle and the prehistoric great blue heron.
You will be able to lay back, get some sun, and take it all in as an accompanying river guides take care of the details.
Families are welcome to attend.
NOTE: Children must be at least 4 years old & 50 lbs
Family Float Includes:
- Riverside snacks provided
- Shuttle to and from parking location
- Quality tube for floating
- Life jacket for safety
When & Where

*11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
*A bus will pick us up from the parking lot at 11:30 a.m. to drive us up to the start of the float

Please arrive no later than 11:30 a.m. at the Shenandoah Riverfront 90 Millville Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 to Register
- 12PM Departure: Bus will take the MCAMW Group up river for drop in
- 12:15: Tubing begins
- *12:15 p.m. – 2:15 PM Approximate Float Time

**For those who wish to float again there will be an opportunity for another run, but this is not guaranteed.
MCAMW will provide water, snacks, adult beverages, sunscreen, bug spray to share with the group. Attendees may feel free to bring any other food, refreshments, etc. at their discretion
What to Wear
- Quick dry shorts (no cotton)
- Quick dry t-shirt, regular t-shirt, or bathing suit
- Sneakers or sport sandals that will stay on your feet. No flip flops!
- Hat with brim or visor.
- Sunglasses, be sure to have a strap to keep them on your head!
